Privacy statement

What is collected, why, for how long, and how to have it removed.

Who is responsible

This website is operated by Folkert Ruiter, trading as The Rumble Factory, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 42075282, based in Laren, The Netherlands. For any question about this statement or about your data, write to folkert.ruiter@therumblefactory.com.

What is collected, and when

Nothing is collected while you read this site. There is no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind.

Data is collected only when you choose to send it. If you use the contact form, that is your name, your email address, the subject you enter and the message you write. If you email directly, it is whatever your message contains.

Why it is used

Solely to answer your question and, where a conversation follows, to conduct it. Your details are not used for marketing, are never sold, and are not shared with third parties except the email provider that carries the message.

The legal basis is legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: you contacted a business expecting a reply, and replying requires holding your message.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within twelve months. Correspondence relating to an engagement is kept for as long as the engagement requires, and afterwards for the period Dutch law requires for business records.

Third parties

Typography on this site is served by Google Fonts. Loading a font from Google means your browser makes a request to a Google server, and your IP address is visible to Google in that request. No other third party receives anything.

Email is carried by the provider hosting the therumblefactory.com domain, which processes messages in order to deliver them.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and uses no local storage. Nothing is stored on your device by this website.

Your rights

You may ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its use, or ask for it in portable form. A single email is enough, and there is nothing to prove or justify. Requests are answered within thirty days.

If you are not satisfied with the response, you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes

If this statement changes, the revised version appears here with a new date. This version dates from August 2026.
